2013 Top Ten List Brainofbmw

Top 10 Albums of 2013 according to @DD_TribLIVE

1. Kanye West – “Yeezus

• Why is “Yeezus” the best album of 2013? It’s what HIP-HOP is all about! Unapologetic, brash, loud, abrasive, ground-breaking, thought provoking, and beautiful. Not many albums can wake you up (“On Sight”), punch you in the mouth (“New Slaves”, “BLKKK SKKKN Head”), get you drunk and hungover (“Hold My Liquor”), take you to the club (“Blood On the Leaves”), then make you want to fall in love (“Bound 2”), all in 40 of the most unpredictable minutes of Music you’ll ever hear. “He’ll give us what we need, it may not be what we want,” that’s what Kanye’s been doing (and saying) since 2003, and I hope the genius never stops.
